Edged Weapons:
Here's a cool relic. War of 1812 Light cavalry sabre. American version of the English pattern 1796 light cavalry sabre.{dragoon sabre} The American dragoon pattern for the war of 1812 was identical to the English pattern but with the scabbard blackend as in this example.
Broad and well curved blade with single, wide fuller. The grip was the stirrup hilt type or as some call it the "reverse-P". Iron scabbard in good,solid condition displaying the expected wear and a couple small dents.
"Barn find" condition with a salt and pepper blade with no nicks. The wooden grip is long gone but all the remaining metal is in strong shape. Weapons such as this were often handed down through the family and carried into the war. $350.00

Model 1840 heavy cavalry sabre. These unmarked sabres are believed to have been manufactured by P.D.Lunesschloss and imported by Tiffany and Co.. Nice dark iron basket with an extra nice scabbard with the usual couple of expected dents. Salt and pepper blade.Wood grip and wire wrap are intact with only traces of the leather remaining. This is just how we like to find them. Fresh from the attic without being messed with. $635.00
Pocket knife dug in western Tennessee. Has two blades rusted in place. Carried by a lot of soldiers in camp to whittle away the hours. $20.00
A nice 54 cal. Lorenz bayonet with it's original wooden scabbard. Bayonet has a nice dark patina and the scabbard still retains some of it's original leather cover. $245.00
A dug 1816 bayonet with a slight bend. Has seen better days but still a nice relic that saw the elephant. $75.00
