Very nice and extremely RARE ball pouch for the British Brunswick rifle.The 6th Mass. were outfitted with these accouterments as the pictures show.Some Confederates as well.The well respected dealer I bought this from has only seen two and the other one sold for 1200 plus!The cool thing about these is the cap pocket is on the inside of the pouch.Body and front flap have a rounded profile roughly six by four and a half inches.Interior cap pouch is 3X2 inches.Retains both belt loops,brass finial,latch tab and cap pocket.There is a small two inch tare in the bottom of the pouch that can only be seen if the pouch is pulled apart like an accordion.Leather is supple and has only minor crazing in a couple places.Very scarce item that is rarely seen on the market.Displays great! $695.00

Navy pistol cartridge box for .36 caliber.Well worn but still retains latch tab,brass finial,both side ears,single belt loop and inner flap.Missing the inner pouch as a lot of these are.Stuffed with old newspaper and stitching has come apart down one side as you can see."USN" embossed on outer flap and "Navy Yard N.Y. 1864" stamped in an oval on inner flap.Still a good civil war dated item for under 100 bucks! $95.00

Cool early cap box with the large,squared outer flap.Retains belt loops,side ears,latch tab, brass finial and inner and outer flap but the soldier tore out the wool.The neat thing about this one is that it was pierced several times on the back by a triangular socket bayonet.Who knows why but the fellow who did it has been gone for 100 years or so.Leather is in good shape. $165.00

Civil war leather flap holster with brass finial still present.Appears to have held a .36 caliber Colt Navy by the outline in the leather.Flap is missing the latch tab but you can see where they rigged a period leather strap to take the finial.Crazing throughout but the flap is still pliable.A small open crack on the top edge of the holster that would be above the barrel. Still retains belt loop.Open tip of holster.Would look great displayed with a Colt Navy! $350.00

Regulation Federal cap box with the wool and vent pick remaining.Latch tab,brass finial,side ears and belt loops still remain and are in good condition.Stitching is in good shape over all.Slight crazing on outer flap that you would expect to see on a "was there" used cap box.Inner flap has a small "US" stamped in the leather. $150.00

Very nice .69 caliber cartridge box.You just don't see these as often as the .58 cartridge boxes.Complete example with both tins, roller buckles,latch tab,side ears and belt loops.Stiching is strong and intact and the leather is strong and pliable.Double stamped with the US sub inspectors stamp and R.
